How Do I Teach Humility???
So, yesterday was early out Monday for Rylee at school. I knew that and had remembered throughout the morning. Well, apparently I can't tell time, so I sent her out to the bus stop 1 hour late. I remembered right as I sent her, and looked up at the clock...woops! Anyway, she comes back in and she really only had about 1.5 hours left of school. Paige was down for a nap, so I asked Rylee if she would just stay home so I didn't have to wake up Paige, etc. Well, I should have known the answer to that... ABSOLUTELY NOT! So I got her to school and all was well. This morning at breakfast I was telling her that I was proud of her for wanting to go to school, and that I shouldn't have tried to keep her home because school is very important. I also told her how proud I was of her and her accomplishments at school. Her comment to me was, "Mom, it isn't easy being ME." OK, I was thinking to myself, "Well, how hard can it be to be a 6 year old?" I said to her, "What do you mean, why isn't it easy being you?" "Well, at school I always have to help everyone write their numbers and letters, luckily the people I have to help sit right next to each other. I mean seriously mom, it isn't easy being me." WOW! How do you praise a child, but yet not let it go to their head?

Seriously, hilarious!!!
Lori I am one of your blog stalkers. I love to see your little family. I love the song you have on your blog. Who is it? We are coming down to a Jazz game a week from Saturday. It's against the Cavs. Will you be there? As far as humility don't burst her bubble yet. It will come soon enough. Emilee's little friend informed her this week that the Disney Princess at Disneyland were just people dressed up and not REAL princess. She was beside herself. It all comes way to soon.
So I posted my last post twice and had to delete it and then I noticed the song was lucky at the bottom of the page. So sorrow! I am new to this blog posting.
