So, we finally blessed sweet Paige! She was 4 months old, but we kept waiting for the basement to be finished to be able to accomodate guests. Anyway, it was a wonderful day. We had great support from both sides of our family, and Bart gave her a beautiful blessing. He said the key was for me not to hold or see Paige until the blessing was over. So, Bart held her all morning, prayed really hard she would be nice and not scream, held her for 30 minutes intervals in the "blessing hold" all morning, put a rattle, binky and everything else in his pocket (just in case) that would entertain her during the actual blessing...and, to his sweet surprise, she just looked up at him the whole time as if she was listening to what he had to say. What a great day it was!!

Super cute pictures!!! I'm pretty sure I took that last one. If Bart wasn't in such a hurry to get out of his church clothes I could have taken one of all of you together!!
So cute!!! I'm so glad she was good for the blessing! What a little darling!! She looks so much more grown up than when I was there!
