Kindygarten "Parent Projects"

This past week Bart and Rylee have been busy doing a project for her kindergarten class. She made a diorama, and she chose the rhinoceros to do her project on. She had to learn all about the animal, and then make the shoe box look like its habitat. This is right up Rylee's alley...she bugged us everyday until we got it done. On Friday, Cade and I went to listen to her report on rhinos, that she had to share with the class. She did such a great job, and didn't even act nervous. Good job Ry!

A Quick Getaway

Mini Golfin @ Fiest Fun

Next time we will bag the golfin and just play the games...get a crapload of tickets, and rake in the prizes. Rylee got a slinky and a bracelet, and Cade got these crazy glasses that he wore everywhere and a shark. AWeSomE!!!

It was a little windy, so I wasn't going to take Paige to the pool...but, she got a little restless sitting on the chair with me. So, I went and put her feet in the pool. After that she would scream at me everytime I took her out. Next thing ya know...I had to go back up to the room to get her ready to swim. She loved it! Splashin, splashin, splashin! Looks like I might have another fish on my hands! Also, Cade has never loved to get in the pool. He gets a little nervous and he gets cold real quick! This year that has changed too. I couldn't get him out of the pool. He was jumpin off the side and everything else. Good thing I have swim lesson registration in the morning. :)

"Mom, could you quit takin my freakin picture!" I love it!!!
We found a new joint in St. George. The Pirate Pizza Place...and it was a hit! More games, more tickets...and more stupid prizes!!!
We stopped at Red Cliffs before we got to St. George to go for a little hike. It was really fun! Rylee loved it. Cade on the other hand is not "Mr. Hike". Twenty feet in his feet hurt, he was tired...and he will now be known as the "Great Indoorsman". After the hike we asked him if he liked the hike, and in total Cade fashion he says, "No, not really!" He did humor me with a few pictures though.

It's no secret that I love to go on vacations. I had been getting the itch for a while to go somewhere...I really didn't care where, JUST SOMEWHERE! Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I called Bart and said me and the kids were going to St. George, he was more than welcome to come, but we were outta here! So, we threw together a quick getaway...and it was such a blast! We left early Sunday and came home late Tuesday, but it seemed like it was much longer because we did so much in those short 3 days.
